STAND-UP COMEDY EST. JULY 2026 STILL FIGURING IT OUT

ARTIEKAY.

Sometimes there's a microphone.
Sometimes people laugh.

01 — ABOUTOR, HOW THIS HAPPENED

Some men buy a Porsche when they have a midlife crisis.

I couldn't afford one.

So I tried stand-up.

Same crisis.
Different budget.

I'd been thinking about trying comedy for years. Watching a friend get up and do it finally convinced me to stop overthinking it.

I first performed in July 2026. To my surprise, I enjoyed it. Even more surprisingly, some people laughed.

Most of my material comes from how I see everyday life: odd little contradictions, human behaviour, and ideas that probably should have stayed in my head.

It's a hobby. That's rather the point.

02 — THE LONG WAY ROUND

Before the
first joke.

In 2023, I stood on a comedy-club stage in Sydney for a photo.

I didn't actually perform.

That part took another three years.

03 — SHOWSWHEN SOMEONE LETS ME

Occasionally
on stage.

No world tour.
Just the odd microphone.
